Community programs

Educational program for the next generation

KAAGA provide educational program to the Korean American teen agers. KAAGA provide free SAT classes for high school students and math classes for middle school students during summer vacation. Professor, Gyuhee Kim from Metropolitan College gives consultation services to those who want to transfer from community college to 4year college. Mrs. Kim also provide educational seminar to Korean parents whose high schooler in the community.

Low-income senior housing consultation services

 

On every Tuesday 2PM, KAAGA staffs advise Korean seniors who apply low income senior housing apartments. Staffs also advise senior apartment application services, Medicaid application, food stamp application as well.

Computer Literacy

 

This series of classes teaches the computer skills necessary to becoming professional in the modern digital and information age. These classes cover basic word processing use of e-mail and the internet.

 

Defensive driving school

You can get 10% discount of vehicle insurance for 3yrs after complete the defensive driving school in KAAGA. Class is on the first Saturday of odd months from 9am-12pm.

Korean Consulate General Services

 

On the first Thursday of every month, officals from the Korean Consulate General service visit KAAGA to serve people who need information on such subjects as Korean visa applications and extensions, military service grace periods for long-term students, and issuance of letters of attorney (credentials) including passport renewal services as well.
